I live in Missouri which is adjacent to Kansas. My daughter attended KU which is located in Lawrence. We've visited Lawrence a number of times and I think it is a really nice college town. I especially like that they have kept their "downtown" busy and up to date. It's a wonderful place for a shopping trip!

Lawrence is a great town, with lots of things to do for all ages. I think the KU campus looks great with the old buildings, trees and hills.
I stayed in the dorm across from Naismith, the summer of 90 for the Masonic All State Band. I have been to K-State campus as well, but I find that KU is more to my likings.

I agree! Lawrence is a very clean, modern town that caters to college age adults. Its a fun place to spend an evening. I don't live there though, and have often wondered if it looses its appeal then. I have relatives that live in Baldwin City, which is about 10 miles from Lawrence, I believe. They really enjoy the area.
