I heard a rumor that Girlfriends was canceled and The Game might be next. I'm not sure, but if it's true I might not watch the CW network as much. They canceled Veronica Mars and I loved that show. The only shows I really watch is The Game, Everybody Hates Chris, Smallville, and supernatural. I use to watch this one show about a family moving to Africa, but I don't know what happened to it. I'm afraid if they keep killing off my shows I might have to move to another network to receive my entertainment.

Girlfriends was the sort of
Girlfriends was the sort of show that never really got a great deal of advertising from that station. Where I live it was so popular that it was on multiple times a day and on two different, "sister" stations.
I haven't heard anything about it being canceled, but then right now I can't think of when it is on now. I think that once the lineup changed for the season, that show just disappeared.
I really can't understand why some shows are taken off while others, that have nothing good about them, still run.
When I think that "According To Jim" is still on and that I heard that it has been renewed, even though the writers have abandoned it, I can't understand that it is still on.
Remember, there was that TV show "Becker" that just remained on air though no one seemed to watch it. "Yes, Dear" was another show with not one good quality about it, but it was on for years and years.
And now Girlfriends is gone without any fanfare? That's just terrible.
I think The CW is struggling
I think The CW is struggling for ratings.
The competition is stiff out there, especially with Sci-Fi channel and Lifetime fillig a couple of really meaty niches.
