Do you think ET should make a public apology for reporting the wrong information about Angelina Jolie giving birth when she didn't? I think they should suck it up and say that their informant gave them the wrong info.
I hadn't heard about this, but if that's the case, I think they should definitely apologize.
I don't usually watch the show. I have no patience for that many teasers, personally and I think they're often scraping the bottom of the barrel for newsworthy stories.
In as much as ET isn't exactly what you'd call a revered journalistic program, I don't think that what they announce is listened to with a whole lot of regard. I'd guess that since it is really a fan show that doesn't really break important stories, I think that a birth announcement that is wrong should not make for any big deal.
I don't see why they shouldn't simply apologize for their making a mistake. It's not like it would harm their credibility with their audience.
I personally cant stand to watch that show. If I need information about a movie I can look it up. I rarely care about stars, but if I want to know something about someone and it looks like it is an important issue, I'd go to "real" newspaper or news show to get my information.
ET just isn't a show that I trust to tell me the full facts. They should apologize for reporting something incorrectly.

I don't believe it requires an apology. She finally had her babies and all is well. It don't think the mistake is that important

That's just my opinion.
