I know we had a forum going on this subject. Just can't find it. But here is today's issue of the Pratt Tribune. Have a look. http://www.pratttribune.com/news/x818815062/Cougar-suspected-in-death-of-horse

Oh yea! They sure will
Oh yea! They sure will come out like a banshee if there was a report! I wonder what they would do if a whole bunch of citizens just started calling in reports? One of these days, one of those lions will show up in town and hundreds of people are going to FREAK! The officials won't know what hit them!!!! lol
I agree with you. I've
I agree with you. I've been told by them and law enforcement many times there are no lion's in this area. But my eyes and ears tell me differently. Also, if they are so adamant about there not being any here, I wonder why they go into hyper drive and start hunting for them when there is a sighting! LOL On more than one occasion near Harper one was reported just north of the city on the outskirts of town. The authorities would turn out in droves with spotlights, etc to try to find it.
I definetly believe they are
I definetly believe they are in this state. Its funny though, I have several friends that work for KDWP and they all deny it and deny it an deny it. Its like they are being told to tell everyone its not true! One of these days, a person is going to get killed by a mountain lion and they won't be able to deny it anymore!!!! :)
