Thin Skin

I went to put on a sleeveless blouse today and I just noticed that the skin on my upper arms, on the underside, looks very strange. The skin itself looks like it has thinned out and is weak. It can be moved around a lot and it looks like crepe paper. UGH!

What happened? I know women have problems with flabby underarms. I have been doing exercises to fight that for years and that part of my arms are OK. But the skin itself looks bad.

I never let that skin be exposed to the sun and it is not dry skin, so I can't say that it has been damaged by tanning. I tried to put lotion on it to look better, but since the skin isn't dry it just got greasy.

Is it just old age? Can I do something to make the thin skin look better again?

Any ideas?

It sounds like an artifact

It sounds like an artifact of aging.

You might try using a body lotion that contains lactic acid as it will soften and smooth the skin.
