What do you think of it? Me, I dont think its a bad thing but would hate for people to start expecting the Government to start doing this every year.

I wouldn't mind if the government gave out a stimulus check every year. Now, expecting it, that is a different matter.
I got mine around the 16th of May. It was just about the same amount as my property taxes which were due on the 12th.
We had to file an extension
We had to file an extension because of owing so much - so no checks for us.
I thought the stimulus check
I thought the stimulus check was something everyone was suposed to get, regardless of how much they owed in taxes.
Are you saying that the government won't be sending it to you, or are you saying that you will be using the stimulus check to pay your taxes?
I was really upset when ours
I was really upset when ours didn't arrive in time for the Memorial Day sales! We could have bought twice as much with that money!

I won't get mine until the middle of July but I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with it. Put some of it away in my savings and then spend the rest gas, food, and bills.

I got my the other day from the government a total of 600.00. It mostly went to catch up on bills and put gas in the car. With gas over 4.00 a gallon I did not get much for my money.

Gas is very expensive! I have to put premium in my car so I'm always having to pay top dollar for gas. :( I'm pretty sure a little bit of every ones return is going right into the gas pump.
