We couldn't see it in the USA, but there was a solar eclipse this morning. Those fortunate enough to afford the travel costs, probably got a real thrill.
Have you ever considered saving up the money to travel to remote places for celestial viewing?

No. I can't spend money for all these. I was also not able to see solar eclipse in Chennai which came yesterday evening. If I had gone to the science park, they would have had something to show. But I didn't have time for them.

Nawww...I'm happy to just stay home and hope for no clouds the nights of the meteor showers and such. One of which is coming up August 12th...the perseids...and I really hope the skies are clear and the moon is quiet!!
