
The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center is home of one of the worlds largest collections of space artifacts including the Liberty Bell 7 Mercury spacecraft, flown Gemeni X spacecraft, Russian Vostok and rare V-1 and V-2 Rockets. The Cosmosphere was named one of the first affiliates of the Smithsonian Institution in 1998. A visit to the Cosmosphere offers the opportunity to view this rare museum and enjoy many of our entertaining and interactive experiences including an IMAX Dome theatre, Dr Goddard's lab which presents science and history in an explosively fun way, our Planetarium and the Astronaut experience offing interactive ways for kids and adults to experience the thrills of space travel. The Cosmosphere also offers many educatiional programs for children and adults through our astronaut training camps including day camps and summer overnight camps.
