The Allen County Historical Society will participate in the 2026 Kansas Tourism Sunflower Summer program, giving Kansas families a way to visit area attractions during the summer season.
The program is designed as an affordable benefit for families with school-aged children from pre-K through Grade 12. Eligible families can download the Sunflower Summer App to claim tickets to participating venues, with one adult ticket eligible for free admission alongside eligible students. Tickets are redeemed at participating venues upon arrival.
The 2026 Sunflower Summer season runs July 9 through August 2. Kansas Tourism, a division of the Kansas Department of Commerce, says the program is intended to encourage travel across the state and support the Kansas tourism economy, while also offering local opportunities for children and families to explore and learn through hands-on experiences in Allen County.
