Saturday includes on-site ice cream freezing starting at 5 p.m., with ice cream contest judging at 7 p.m. Ice cream service begins at 7:30 p.m., and it will be available for $1 for two scoops. Pies can be purchased by the slice or whole, and volunteers may bring pies the morning of the fair (cream-based fillings are not allowed).
Each day brings a mix of competitions and performances. Thursday’s schedule includes scarecrow building and an antique quilt and apron show, an old-time and modern farm skills competition at 2 p.m., and a talent show at 6 p.m. Later events include poultry and rabbit shows, plus performances by the Baldwin High School band and the Alferd Packer Memorial String Band. Friday and Saturday add events such as livestock judging, bicycle races, tug-of-war, and multiple tractor pulls, along with pet parade activities.
