A 68-year-old man from Moran, Kansas, died after striking a deer and crashing his motorcycle Saturday night in Allen County, Kansas. Kansas Highway Patrol said Barry Maley was riding a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail on Delaware Road approaching U.S. 59 when he hit a deer that was crossing the roadway.
Troopers reported Maley was not wearing a helmet and was killed in the crash. The collision occurred at about 8:00 p.m. on Delaware Road, roughly 0.5 mile east of U.S. 59, west of Elsmore.
