Emporia house fire leaves four dogs dead, firefighters respond to Rural Street blaze

A fire in Emporia on Monday resulted in the deaths of four dogs, according to KSNT 27 News. The Emporia Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 800 block of Rural Street.

When crews arrived, flames were coming from the back of the house and there was smoke throughout the home. Firefighters worked the scene after finding the fire conditions on arrival.
