Kansas State University awarded degrees to more than 3,000 graduates, including a group of Allen County students recognized in the university’s commencement honors.
The university conferred approximately 2,200 bachelor’s degrees, 650 master’s degrees and 200 doctorates. More than 730 students received graduation honors for academic performance, including 275 summa cum laude graduates with a GPA of 3.95 or above, 248 magna cum laude graduates with a GPA of 3.85 to 3.949, and 210 cum laude graduates with a GPA of 3.75 to 3.849.
Allen County students recognized included Calvin Delich (Iola), Bachelor of Science of Business Administration; Kasen Fudge (Iola), Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude; Hallie McDermeit (Iola), Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude; Jerron Kurth (Humboldt), Bachelor of Science; and Kyanna Lankton (LeRoy), Bachelor of Science.
The Iola Register reported the group was among those receiving degrees from K-State in Manhattan.
