Water and sewer rates are dropping for Junction City residents, with the change taking effect this month, city officials said in coverage from KSNT 27 News. Junction City announced that both water and sewer rates have been reduced as of July 1.

Customers will see the impact through a lower water base rate. The city also noted that residents with large water meters will receive a reduction in their water base rates.

For households and businesses that are billed based on water and sewer usage, the update provides a direct cost change starting July 1, as the city moves forward with the new rate structure.
