Three teachers from northeast Kansas have been selected to serve as National Teacher Ambassadors and mentors for the National Future Farmers of America (National FFA) during the upcoming school year, an announcement made July 14. KSNT 27 News reports the group will join the national educator roster supporting the FFA mission.

The National FFA said the program will include 88 teacher ambassadors from 37 states. For Kansas students and classrooms, the selection means local educators will take on a special mentoring role as part of the national effort.
