Kansas Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland is urging jobseekers and employers to take part in this month’s Virtual Statewide Job Fair, hosted by KANSASWORKS on Thursday, June 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The virtual format is designed to let jobseekers complete applications, chat live, and interview virtually with participating employers. Attendees can join through any digital device, and the job fair portal includes a jobseeker training video, a list of participating employers, and steps to register and log in.
Registration is required to participate in the virtual job fair, even if someone attended a previous event. Organizers also encourage jobseekers to dress professionally in case interviews are scheduled. Individuals with disabilities may request accommodation by contacting their nearest workforce center at (877) 509-6757 before the event.
