Harvesters said the gift will support families facing food insecurity, calling out that summer months can be especially difficult when children and families lose access to free and reduced-cost school breakfasts and lunches. The organization added that the pair have financially supported Harvesters before, and Travis Kelce has volunteered for the food bank.
The couple also donated to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. KMBC 9 reported that Swift and Kelce’s giving comes as they approach an expected wedding, with their love story beginning in Kansas City in 2023 after Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium.
