The formal endorsement comes from Kansas Farm Bureau’s political action committee, VOTE FBF, which is made up of active farmers and ranchers elected by their peers from each of KFB’s 10 geographic districts. The endorsement process started earlier this year with individual recommendations from autonomous county Farm Bureau organizations.
Through that statewide, county-driven feedback process, each of Kansas’s 105 counties had an opportunity to provide input to VOTE FBF, and Sen. Marshall was the choice of the group’s members. KFB President Glenn Brunkow said he looks forward to building a partnership with Sen. Marshall to implement the organization’s grassroots policy to strengthen agriculture and rural Kansas.
Great Bend Tribune details the endorsement as a Kansas Farm Bureau-led decision shaped by participation across counties and KFB districts.
