Applications are open for Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks’ annual Special Hunts program, which gives hunters access to more than 400 limited-access hunting opportunities scheduled across the fall and winter. KDWP says the program includes hunts on areas that are not typically open to hunting.
KSNT 27 News reports the Special Hunts program is designed to broaden hunting opportunities while using limited-access formats. Hunters interested in the program can submit applications now and plan around the fall and winter hunt dates included in the KDWP offerings.
