OpenStudios Lawrence is expanding into more vacant downtown storefront spaces, with a fresh group of artists set to move in after the first participants complete their stint.
The program’s update brings new creative work to empty storefronts in downtown Lawrence, continuing the effort to repurpose vacant spaces while earlier participants have finished their time in the program.
Kansas Press Association reported on the expansion as the new artists prepare to occupy the added downtown locations.
