The grant will support KFB Foundation’s existing leadership scholarship program, which offsets costs such as travel, registration, and lodging. The scholarships are designed to make it easier for more participants to build skills, relationships, and confidence for serving their communities.
Scholarship recipients can attend events including KFB’s Annual Meeting, Day at the Statehouse, Young Farmers & Ranchers Leaders Conference, and Women Grow the Farm. The Bill House grant draws on the legacy of Swain William “Bill” House, a Kansas rancher and attorney whose legacy funds through CFSEK support agricultural education and scholarships.
