A free community event in Manhattan is being planned to help residents handle unwanted furniture and also find new pieces for their homes. KSNT 27 News notes the event, called Furniture Amnesty Day, is intended to support a smoother way to declutter while keeping usable items in circulation.
City of Manhattan marketing specialist Lauren Lohfink discussed the event in a city press release. The gathering is set to take place in the Little Apple, with residents participating by getting rid of items they no longer need or by taking furniture that’s available for reuse.
