Shawnee County plans July closures in Mission Township to replace failing culverts

Sections of three roadways in the Mission Township area near Topeka are expected to close later in July as Shawnee County replaces failing cross culverts, county officials said.

In a July 15 announcement, Shawnee County Public Information Officer Amanda Monhollon said the work will require portions of the three roadways to be closed to allow repairs.

Drivers in the Mission Township area near Topeka should plan for detours and delays during the closures.
