A Fort Scott man was injured in a crash involving two pickups at the north edge of Moran, according to The Iola Register. Allen County Sheriff Anthony Maness said the passenger, Jaydn Stone, 21, was taken to a local hospital by ambulance after the collision Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. 54 and U.S. 59. Maness said Kylah Sander, 18, of rural Moran, was traveling westbound on U.S. 54 and attempted a left turn onto U.S. 59. That move placed Sander’s turning vehicle in the path of an eastbound pickup driven by Tracy Humbert, 53, also of Fort Scott, with Stone riding as a passenger in Humbert’s pickup.
Sheriff Maness reported that neither Sander nor Humbert was injured.
