A fifth-grade student from Prairie Village has died from critical injuries after a car crash earlier this week while her family was traveling to a soccer tournament, KMBC 9 reported. St. Ann Catholic Church and School shared with families that Annie Koester died Saturday night.
Koester played with Legends Soccer Club in Kansas City, Kansas, and the club said the family was heading from the Kansas City area to Nashville when the crash occurred. Legends also urged the community to support Koester’s family during this difficult time.
