Another hazy day is lingering over northeast Kansas as wildfire smoke from the northwestern U.S. continues to funnel into the region on the upper-level jet stream, KSNT 27 News reports.
Thursday brings better air-quality expectations, with winds shifting direction to help push the smoke out of the area. Tonight is expected to turn mostly clear, with temperatures dropping overnight.
