Reno County Commissioners have approved tax incentives totaling $80 million to turn the former Cottonwood Hills Golf Club into a destination golfing resort.
The plan is expected to draw more than 50,000 annual visitors and generate an estimated $25 million to $35 million in annual spending, according to KSN-TV.
Supporters say the redevelopment would transform the property into a larger regional draw, with local economic impact tied to visitor traffic and day-to-day spending from resort guests.
