Daddy Bud Day returns to north Salina for a free block party Saturday

People relaxing and mingling at a community block party in a park with lawn chairs and volunteers preparing food.
Daddy Bud Day, a free community block party in north Salina, is returning this Saturday, July 11, at Pacific / Curtis Park, 701 W. Pacific. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. James Curtis—known as Cash Hollistah and a Salina native—will host the gathering in collaboration with the Curtis family and the local nonprofit Salina Shares. Organizers say the celebration offers an old-school style community block party and encourage attendees to bring their own lawn chair. Donations will also be accepted.
