The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) will bring its baseball and softball championship tournaments back to Salina for 2027, returning after the conference held both events in Salina during the 2026 season. NewsRadio 1150 KSAL reports that Kansas Wesleyan University will again serve as the host institution.

The baseball championship will be played at Dean Evans Stadium, while the softball tournament will take place at the softball fields at Salina South High School. Both tournaments are scheduled for May 5-8, 2027, with May 9 set as a rain day to make up games if weather disrupts play.

KCAC also plans a “Meet and Greet” with the teams on May 4, 2027, designed to connect the conference’s student-athletes with the Salina community and youth in the region.
