Salina Rotary marks leadership change as it looks to continue community service

The Rotary Club of Salina celebrated a year of community impact while transitioning leadership, with Amanda Otto concluding her presidency and Jenni Jones taking over for the 2026–2027 Rotary year, reported KSAL.

Otto reflected on the club’s work and emphasized that service efforts centered on strengthening friendships, welcoming new members, and helping create change through people working together. The club’s initiatives during her term included a range of service projects, as described in the organization’s summary.

Jones credited Otto’s leadership with leaving a strong foundation and said she will build on the club’s momentum while aligning with Rotary International’s theme, “Create Lasting Impact.” She also shared a goal of helping others experience the purpose and sense of belonging Rotary members find through volunteering and community projects.

The Salina Rotary Club was founded March 1, 1917, and is described as continuing its commitment to “Service Above Self” through local initiatives, youth development, and global outreach. The club invited community members to learn more and get involved, providing an email address for membership questions.
