Salina’s July Most Wanted list has resulted in 15 arrests, following the release of a new set of warrants by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, NewsRadio 1150 KSAL reports. The captures came after the list—posted online Saturday, July 4—was expanded to address numerous active warrants.
In the first weekend of each month, a new Most Wanted list is released. This month’s list was “doubled,” growing to 48 names to help clear outstanding warrants currently active, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Those sought include people wanted for a range of alleged offenses such as armed robbery, aggravated battery, aggravated escape from custody, fleeing and eluding, child abuse, sexual exploitation of a child, felony drug crimes, and other charges.
The report also notes that the June Most Wanted list produced more than a half-dozen arrests, underscoring continued enforcement activity tied to the monthly warrant releases.
