Trailer Released for Salina’s “4 Days in June” Documentary Ahead of July Screenings

FILI Creative has released an official trailer for 4 Days in June, a feature-length documentary spotlighting the people and stories behind the Smoky Hill River Festival. The trailer—now available online—offers a first look at a film produced from footage captured over five years, including interviews and behind-the-scenes access.

The documentary centers on how the festival brings people together through shared arts and community moments. Its tagline, “Finding common ground is a walk in the park,” reflects that focus, and the film connects to the annual event that draws tens of thousands to Oakdale Park for music, food, performances, and visual arts.

In Salina, the film’s premiere is scheduled for July 9 at the Stiefel Theatre. That premiere is described as a ticketed event for invited guests. Afterward, the documentary will have public showings at the Salina Art Center Cinema from July 10–15.

FILI Creative worked in partnership with Salina Arts & Humanities and the Smoky Hill River Festival. Festival organizers note that the Smoky Hill River Festival will mark its 50th year in 2026, with the event running June 11–14 in Salina.
