The Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library hosted a World Cup-themed event Thursday, June 18, giving kids and families a way to connect with the international tournament closer to home.
Families attending the program were invited to learn about the sport and watch part of a World Cup match as part of the library’s event.
KSNT 27 News reported that the event is one of several ways local families have been finding to follow World Cup action taking place in the Kansas City area while staying in Topeka.
