KSNT 27 News reports that Topeka native NiJaree Canady, a former Topeka High standout, has signed an Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) contract and is moving into the professional ranks.

The report says Canady signed her contract on Friday, June 12, following a brief holdout. With the agreement, she is identified as the final member of the league’s 2026 draft class to reach terms.
