Two hospitals in Topeka were recognized on Forbes’ inaugural “Top Hospitals” list for 2026, highlighting the Kansas healthcare system’s performance in a national ranking.
Forbes developed the list in collaboration with healthcare experts and used its Overall Hospital Quality Rankings as the basis for selection. Of roughly 5,400 hospitals eligible for consideration, 2,600 made the final list.
KSNT 27 News reports that Rachel Rabkin Peachman of Forbes said the ranking methodology is tied to the Forbes Overall Hospital Quality Rankings. For patients and families across the region, the recognition provides an additional signal as they compare care options.
