Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland is inviting both jobseekers and employers to participate in this month’s Weekend Virtual Statewide Job Fair hosted by KANSASWORKS.
The virtual event runs from 8:00 a.m. Friday, July 24, through 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26. Jobseekers can apply to positions through the online portal, chat live, and interview virtually with participating employers during the weekend timeframe.
The fair includes resources for attendees, such as a jobseeker training video and a list of participating employers, along with registration and login instructions. KANSASWORKS encourages candidates to dress professionally because they may be asked to take part in an interview. Participation is available through any digital device, and individuals with disabilities may request accommodations by contacting their nearest workforce center at (877) 509-6757 before the event.
