Deitrek Gill, a former Wellington Crusader golf standout, is set to continue his playing career as a graduate transfer to the University of Southern California Trojans. The Wellington Daily News reports Gill will join USC next spring.
Gill is one of only six Crusader golfers in the boys or girls programs to win an individual state championship. He previously played for three years at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California before making the move to USC.
The transfer keeps Gill’s Kansas roots connected to a major Division I program as he prepares for the next phase of his collegiate golf career.
