Investigators spent much of the day in the 5700 block of East Chadows, where police say two unknown males entered unlocked vehicles and took items. Residents reported the loss of heart attack medication and construction tools, and police also said one handgun was among three guns stolen Saturday morning.

Police say they are looking into a string of thefts in the area, including seven thefts involving 11 vehicles, as officers work to identify the suspects and determine what was taken from each car.
