Completed in 1923, the Rooks County Courthouse is an example of Neo Classical Revival architecture and is one of the outstanding courthouses in Kansas. The structure, made of Bedford Stone, features marble staircases and marble halfway up each wall. There are seven original vaults located throughout the building.
